About the model strategy
In this section you will find an outcome of the SufalNet: the model strategy. The model strategy is the best practice of experts in the SufalNet network on three topics:
- examination, written by A. Urzelai and M. Olazabal, Labein Tecnalia, Spain
- aftercare, wiritten by H. Kers, A. de Wit & H. Ritsema, Afvalzorg (Waste- and Soilcare), the Netherlands
- redevelopment, written by M.Rigillo, M. Iacoviello, F. Canonico, G. Milite, GesCo Environment, Italy
These three strategies are combined and summarized in an integrated strategy document. Furthermore a summary of the integrated strategy is available too. You can download both documents here on the right side of this webpage.
Integration of knowledge domains about landfill reuse
You can find the summaries of the documents in webtext. If you download the complete documents, you will see that these summaries are included in the main documents.
The model strategies are based on three sources:
- the expertise of the authors
- articles collected during the Sufalnet project; the most important of these articles can be downloaded in the section
- case studies that can be found and downloaded under the main header 'landfill overview'
